Both the house and location are magical, Domme is a stunning medieval village and the house is wonderful, a traditional village house that has been updated with a contemporary interior, perfect. The location is amazing, with views over the valley.

We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. The location is beautiful, peaceful with amazing views and a short walk into Domme or down the hill to Cenac. We loved watching the hot air balloons in the morning and evening. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils which made eating in very easy, but there were also some great local restaurants (would recommend Cabanoix et Chataignes for a nice dinner, Le Medieval for a lighter bite and amazing sundaes and slightly further afield Lou Toupi near La Roque-Gageac for seasonal food). The pool was fantastic to cool off in the afternoon, as was the shade under the pergola. It got quite stuffy upstairs on the hottest days but the fans helped to cool things down so we could sleep. We'd definitely return - the Dordogne is one of our favourite new discoveries and this was the perfect base to enjoy it from.

I cannot describe how wonderful Le Reverie is, it has to be experienced in the flesh. It is perfectly located with the 13th century walls of Domme in its garden. Lovingly restored by its owners and tastefully decorated it is a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the village. It is peaceful. It has epic panoramic views for miles! The pool is brilliant for a small group or family. We completely loved our stay and would highly recommend this house and Domme for a true Black Dordogne experience. The surrounding area is nothing short of breathtaking with numerous mediaeval villages and castles. The hosts (we dealt with Melanie) were brilliant too, advised and helped before our arrival and there were clear instructions. They also assisted when required but left us to it. This is quite possibly our favourite ever holiday rental we've had in any country. Just perfect and needs to be experienced. 5 stars for everything.

We were a group of 2 couples staying for 2 weeks at La Reverie. The house & garden are beautiful, the pool just perfect. We found it fully equipped for cooking & dining in and just a short stroll to some lovely places to eat out in the village. Sitting on the covered terrace for all our meals with the delight of watching the hot air balloons drift by, was magical. The perfect holiday gite.

What a lovely home in a beautiful village. Everything was well planned for and we had a very comfortable stay. The location is sublime, watching the hot air balloons drift past in the evening was memorable. Easy to find, easy access instructions and a brilliant experience in a sensitively renovated house. One of our best holidays.

Amazing house with all the amenities. Would definitely recommend. Advise hiring a car for this location but otherwise absolutely perfect holiday home for families of all ages. Keen to return!

The property is incredible, the garden has beautiful views over the valley, situated on a quiet road a one minute walk from the centre of Domme. The pool is excellent and heated to a really lovely temperature. The interior is finished to a really high standard, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and spacious bathrooms. We stayed with 2 babies under the age of 1 and it was perfect. They provided 2 cots and 2 high chairs at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend this place to everyone, very relaxing, beautiful properly with great food and drink nearby!

This was our first stay in the Dordogne and we picked a pretty special place with amazing views, pools and facilities. The Photos don’t really do this house justice and the location is extremely unique. The access road to the house is extremely tight if you have a big car but after a couple of days we got the hang of it. Garbage is a general issue in Domme (medieval town which is too tight for garbage collection) and you do need to drive it to the nearby bins.

Comfortable stylish property in beautiful village
We had a wonderful stay at Le Reverie in Domme - the house is a perfect size for a family of 5 and the pool and decor were great. The place felt luxurious and comfortable, and we enjoyed exploring Domme and the local villages, as well as canoeing and a candlelit walk around the jardin de marquessac. Driving into and out of Domme in a large car was a challenge as the old roads are so narrow - I don't recommend that in the dark! We would certainly return.

Beautifully presented & located property in a gem of a town.
The property has been thoughtfully and tastefully renovated with lots of little touches that make it a luxurious and convenient home from home. The location is stunning and Domme is a beautiful town with everything you need in a walkable distance and tourist attractions such a canoeing, an easy drive away. The property is very well maintained and the property management company are very professional and responded quickly when we had a query. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Excellent! A wonderful and comfortable home in the most fabulous location-
the proximity of restaurants being a very short walk yet feeling you're
away from the town is brilliant - we love staying there. Hand towels in the
toilets would be good. Some smaller bowls in crockery would be very useful
too. The car that parks outside the other rental property at the beginning
of the lane - doesn't make it easy to pass - I hope a larger one won't be
there in future as we wouldn't get through! Apart from that though it
really is the perfect holiday home?

? We spent a lovely week here at this amazing place. The weather
definitely helped and we were able to enjoy the pool and incredible views
on the terrace in the evenings. But the house has been designed and
finished inside to a very high standard and we felt incredibly spoilt and
appreciated every minute we spent here. We loved exploring the area but it
truly was a delight to come back to such a special place at the end of the
day. We hope to return one day! ?

? Quite possibly the most beautiful spot on earth! A ravishing view from a
medieval village that charms the heart right out of you. Beauty everywhere
you turn, fabulous restaurants, friendly people and plenty of things to
visit nearby. Le Reve is beautiful, tastefully appointed with everything
you need but nothing extraneous. I didn't even miss my own bed. And then
there's the garden!
