Description
The upper floor offers a spacious and bright open-plan living area with French doors leading to a terrace with stunning lake views.
The stylish dining table seats six, and the cozy living room features comfortable seating around a smart TV. A Sonos speaker is also provided, and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The authentic atmosphere of the house is enhanced by beautiful exposed wooden beams in the ceiling. Elegant ceiling fans ensure the house stays pleasantly cool even on hot summer days.
The fully equipped kitchen offers ample workspace and includes an oven with induction hob, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a wine cooler. Various small appliances are also available, including a Nespresso coffee machine and an electric kettle, as well as high-quality tableware.
Bedrooms
The house has three comfortable bedrooms.
Upstairs, you'll find Bedroom 1, which features an extra-large double bed (180 x 200 cm) and French doors leading to the terrace overlooking the lake. This room also has a ceiling fan. Adjacent is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, as well as a separate toilet with a sink. A new shower door will be installed in this bathroom soon.
On the ground floor, you'll find Bedroom 2, also with an extra-large double bed (180 x 200 cm), and Bedroom 3 with two single beds. These rooms share a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
A cot and highchair are available for families.
The house also has a washing machine. High-quality bed linen, towels, and pool towels are included in the rental price. There is no cleaning fee, provided guests leave the property in the same condition as they found it upon departure.
Outdoors
One of the highlights of this property is the uniquely shaped private pool, surrounded by a sheltered sun terrace with six new Hesperide sun loungers and an extendable dining table for six. From the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful and private view of Lac Vert de Catus.
The pool is equipped with a security alarm and has a maximum length of 6 meters and a maximum width of 4.35 meters.
The upper terrace, accessible through double doors from the living and dining room, also offers stunning lake views. This terrace, with its wooden decking, overlooks the pool terrace and the lake beyond and features a spacious lounge sofa for relaxing.
For cozy evenings outdoors, a large charcoal barbecue is available. There is also a table tennis table. Private parking for several cars is available on the property.
A scenic path is just a 6-minute walk from Lac Vert, and the village of Catus is about 20 minutes away. Here you'll find a restaurant, small shops, and a bakery where you can pick up fresh bread every morning.
The lake features a sandy beach and offers various recreational activities, including pedal boats, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and a water park. There are also picnic areas, a playground, and sports facilities such as tennis and volleyball courts.
Please note: Activities at the lake are seasonal.
The Lot Valley is known for its beautiful natural landscape of rolling hills, forests, vineyards, and characteristic farms. A visit to Cahors, famous for its Malbec wines, is definitely worthwhile. This historic town boasts charming medieval streets and the famous Pont Valentré.
The surrounding area is also home to many picturesque medieval villages, which regularly host markets and live music events in the summer.
