Golf and golf courses in the Dordogne, Corrèze and the Lot
The Dordogne, the Corrèze and the Lot are a paradise for golfers. There are many golf courses and the gently sloping terrain lends itself perfectly to the most beautiful golf course. No rush, no stress. Reservations are not always necessary, but advisable. Even golfers without a GVB are often admitted. You are rarely asked for your handicap card.
TIP! France often has a reduced rate for a couple (male-female). Ask for the "tarif pour une couple".

Canoeing in the Dordogne and the Lot
The Dordogne is the eldorado for canoe trips. There are three rivers where you can actively canoe. Most canoe rental companies can be found along the rivers Vézère and Dordogne. Around Brantôme you can make trips on the Dronne. The canoe trips are really for the whole family. The water flow is calm; so you can set your own pace. If you like water rapids, you better go to the Ardèche. The canoe trips in the Dordogne are mainly characterized by natural beauty; rolling valleys, interspersed with rock formations and many castles, which often protrude above the river. You can determine your own distance; there are various routes from 4km.

Fishing in the Dordogne
The Dordogne has many lakes and rivers where you can fish well.
Keep in mind that a permit for fishing is needed. This so-called Carte de Peche is available at most tobacco stores. This can be a day pass but also a holiday pass.
