Description
From the dining room you enter the large covered terrace with great views. The house has 4 bedrooms. There are 2 bathrooms, one with shower, toilet and sink, and the other characteristic with shower, freestanding antique bath, 2 sinks and separate toilet in the hallway. The bedrooms are spacious, each with a double bed, two bedside tables, bed lamps and a wardrobe. The master bedroom has two doors to the terrace. Above the living room is an open loft with TV, DVD, radio and CD player, 2 sofas and a basket full of family games. There is a large basement / garage. Here is a washing machine, dryer and microwave, and storage for food.
Outside
The terrace is 16 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. There is a large dining table for 8 people with an outdoor fireplace / barbecue with a great view of the slightly lower swimming pool and surroundings. The pool measures 6 x 12 meters and is 1.5 meters deep everywhere, with a 3 meter wide staircase of 5 steps. Ideal for young and old. The site is almost completely fenced by a fence and / or a natural barrier with hedge. The site is accessed via a remote-controlled gate. The entire site also includes its own vineyard, orchard and a number of walnut trees. Everything is there for a well-deserved vacation and live like a God in France.
The house is wonderfully quiet on a higher hill in the middle of an agricultural area. By car you are in 2 minutes in the village. The region includes several castles just a few minutes away such as the medieval castles Castelnaud and Beynac, Marqueyssac, Les Milandes. In the valley the river Le Céou flows and is a branch that flows into the Dordogne at Castelnaud. You can make wonderful walking and cycling trips from the house.
Activities
The area is ideal for walking and cycling. In Castelnaud all sorts and sizes of bicycles can be rented, including electric bicycles and various scenic cycling routes. You can canoe on the Dordogne.
