Coly is 2 km away and it is a lovely walk in the morning to fetch your fresh croissants. Coly is a lovely village with beautiful streets.
Also in Coly is the magnificent Manoir de Hautegente, a hotel restaurant for dinner. Supermarkets in Terrasson at 8 km. The medieval town of Terrasson is situated on the river Vézère. In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need. There are 5 large supermarkets and several restaurants, in the old and new part of the town. Located at 13 km Montignac with the famous Caves of Lascaux, the caves where the first drawings of prehistoric man were found. Montignac is a pleasant town with many restaurants along the river Vézère and two supermarkets. At 35 km you will find the capital of the Perigord Noir: Sarlat, a medieval town known for its atmosphere, food and buildings. Salignac-Eyvigues (15 km) is a beautiful small town with a castle.
