rendre votre s?jour inoubliable. S?jour en : ao?t 2018, a voyag? en

Idyllic setting in the Dordogne! We stayed in La Petite Borde for a week in
May/June and had the most enjoyable time. We were amazed by how beautiful
the entire property was and the detail that had gone into developing it.
Our gite was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was immaculately
clean and well maintained. Dominique and Cathy were both warm and
hospitable and available if we'd have required anything. The swimming pool
is gorgeous - large and clean with ample deck area and nice furniture. We
had our privacy on the property with our own terrace and small barbeque and
eating area. The other gites also had guests but the ample property allows
for plenty of space and privacy. Wonderful for families, kids can run free
and visit the miniature horses or play in the playground. Located very
close to Sarlat and a quick drive to all services and the many attractions
in the area. We reflect on it often and would love to go back. S?jour en :

French Country Charm Our trip to P?rigord last week with French friends
was a dream come true in large part because of our charming accommodations
at Le Hameau. The location of the hamlet of gites is ideal, in a
picturesque, rural setting overlooking the valley and near Sarlat. We
stayed at la Maiterie Basse, at the bottom of the slope and furthest from
the quiet, peaceful road above. The outside of the gite looked just as
advertised on the web-site, but the interior was even better than expected.
The gite looks as though it came straight from the pages of a French
country magazine with terra cotta tiled floors and white stucco walls.
Tastefully designed and decorated, it was very roomy for two people with a
spacious master bedroom with arched doors to the outside and a beautiful
rustic bathroom. The other bedroom, which we did not use, had a double bed
and a single in an alcove. The small kitchen was well-equipped for
breakfasts and dinner which we prepared there. Outside, the vegetation is
Mediterranean with large rosemary bushes, banana trees and a couple of palm
trees. The owner, Dominique, and his assistant, Kathy, were both very
congenial and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We
felt at home immediately and are recommending it to our friends. S?jour en

Perfect late summer holiday at the Hameau du Sentier des Sources Its hard
to overpraise this superb place. The Hameau is simply the most beautiful
piece of land - perfectly planned and managed - that we have ever had the
pleasure to stay in. Dominique is a welcoming, friendly and unobtrusive
presence, very charming, very relaxed. The gite we stayed in was
attractive, spotless and private. The grounds are stunning, it doesnt have
the sense that one is staying in any kind of complex. Swimming pool is
elevated so that one can look over the valley and the endless copses and
woods that the region is rightly famous for. There is lots to see and do in
the Dordogne valleys, but it was equally pleasant to have a couple of rest
days and enjoy the surroundings. Lovely people, lovely surroundings, a
terrific holiday and I place a lot of the responsibility on Dominique and
his family and team for making it so. We shall return as soon as we can and
with much to look forward to. By then Dominique will be growing
gooseberries and making jam - the Irish way, we hope! (and he is a great
vegetable grower....) S?jour en : septembre 2017, a voyag? en couple
