Mesange blue**** is an attractively furnished gite, with an area for up to 5 people and is located on the border of the Lot and the Dordogne. It is a pleasant place for cycling, walking or to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful nature.
Description
Upon entering the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with comfortable furniture, a flat screen TV with Dutch and foreign channels. There is a Chromecast available to stream your own favorite programs.
Wifi is available via Starlink satellite. The modern open kitchen is fully equipped. With a 4-burner gas stove, combi oven/microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer combination and an extensive inventory, even an avid amateur chef will lack little. For enthusiasts, a Nespresso coffee machine is available. The original, high, oak beamed ceiling gives a spacious effect and the old stone "en pierre" walls provide the authentic, homely, French feeling.
A comfortable staircase takes you to the first floor where there are two very spacious bedrooms of approximately 25 m² each. Here too we have managed to retain the original beamed ceiling and the ridge height of over 5 meters gives a spatial effect. Bedroom 1 has two single beds of 90 x 200. Bedroom 2 has a four-poster bed of 180 x 200. Both bedrooms have an adjacent modern luxury bathroom with a rain shower, sink and (separate) toilet. The bedrooms are equipped with Auping mesh bases and thick pocket spring mattresses of varying firmness. On request, the beds are made and towels are ready for you. Do you prefer a softer or firmer pillow? Everything is there. After all, a relaxing holiday starts with a good night's sleep. There is a baby cot, bath and high chair for the little guests. There is also plenty of entertainment for the teenagers. Table tennis, badminton, joules de boules, karting, canoeing, mountain biking and of course not forgetting the lovely swimming pool. The entire house has central heating, with underfloor heating on the ground floor and a beautiful wood-burning stove, especially for those cozy evenings.
Outside
There are 2 terraces. On the rear terrace, 35 m², you will find teak chairs with dining table, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun or read a book in the shade in the warm afternoon. The spacious terrace offers you a beautiful view over the swimming pool and the landscaped garden with various types of fruit trees. At the front of the gite you can enjoy the sun all afternoon and evening. Mesange Blue can be booked all year round and is also very suitable for spending a pleasant time with a couple of friends.
Domaine Roc de Latge is located in a beautiful hilly and wooded area between the Lot and Dordogne rivers. From this base of tranquility you will find a wide range of tourist attractions, cozy (evening) markets and excellent restaurants in the nearby area. In addition to all the aforementioned activities, you can go paragliding, take a balloon ride, skydiving, go karting, take a cruise or canoe trip on the Lot and Dordogne or to an adventure or amusement park. Mountain bikers can enjoy the many trails that have been set out. There are also many opportunities for anglers and the area is perfect for varied walking and cycling trips or horse riding.
