Manoir Verdier is situated in a hilly position, on the edge of the famously busy village of Les Eyzies, the capital of prehistory. With all the "Must See Sights" of the Dordogne within a very close radius it is the ideal base from which to explore both the Vezere and Dordogne valleys.

Manoir Verdier is spread over 2 floors.
On the ground floor you will find a very spacious living room with a 5 meter high ceiling and a beautiful fireplace, two comfortable sofas, two armchairs and a coffee table. The room is very light and bright thanks to the two huge sliding glass doors that lead to the front terrace, pool and garden. On the other side of the living room is a small TV room with two armchairs, shelves of books and a large flat screen TV.
There is a dining table with 8 chairs where you can dine together.
Adjacent you will find the kitchen which is equipped with a fridge/freezer, 4 electric rings, an oven and a microwave. In addition, you will find the laundry room with a washing machine, iron, ironing table and storage space.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom and is located on the ground floor, at the end of a small hallway. This bedroom offers peace and privacy. There is a double bed, wardrobe and benefits from a door leading out to the front terrace. This bedroom has a very spacious shower room with two washbasins and an XXL walk-in shower.
A separate toilet is also available on this level.
From the entrance, the stairs lead to the 1st floor:
The hallway and mezzanine overlook the living room and are furnished with two armchairs for the children to play in.

Bedroom 2. This room has a bunk bed and a wardrobe. There is an extra top quality mattress that can be put on the floor for a 3rd person to sleep here.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and a small built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 4 is the last bedroom also with a double bed and a large built-in wardrobe. There is also a sink.
These bedrooms share a shower room with large walk-in shower and wash basin.
There is a separate toilet on the first floor

Manoir Verdier is situated on a large terrain of 4500m². The spacious terrace runs almost the entire width of the house. It is equipped with a large wooden table and chairs and a gas barbecue. Although there is a large parasol, the shade of the majestic oak tree is much appreciated during those hot summer days. The terrace overlooks the pool and is therefore ideal for supervising the children.
There is another terrace. It catches the evening sun and is the perfect place to enjoy a good glass of wine at an aperitif time. The pool has a round shape. It has a diameter of 8 meters and is from 130cm to 180cm deep in the center and is secured with an alarm and gated for safety. The swimming pool is equipped with loungers and parasol. For your comfort, it is heated from early May to mid-October. There is a shower next to the pool. The 4500m² gardens consist largely of grass. It is ideal for the children to play. Passed by forest, it is abundant in wildlife such as rabbits, deer, owls, hawks and woodpeckers. For walkers there are many footpaths from the hamlet where the manor is located.
For your entertainment, you can enjoy a table tennis table and a trampoline. You can easily park 4 cars on the property.
So much to do and see in this beautiful area, ideally located at the crossroads of the Vézère valley, famous for its prehistoric sites, and the Dordogne valley with its medieval villages, bastides, chateaux and beautiful countryside.
There are many activities nearby including an 18 hole golf course 15 minutes from the house, canoeing, hiking, horse riding, hot air ballooning, tennis and fishing all on your doorstep.
The center of the busy village of Les Eyzies, with shops, restaurants, weekly market and the International Museum of Prehistory is only 4 km away.
