Maison Montcuq is a beautiful 17th-century holiday home. The accommodation is particularly suitable for larger families, multi-generational families, or groups of friends who want to holiday together but still appreciate some privacy.
There are two bedrooms located in the main building. On the ground floor is the charming master bedroom with an impressive vaulted ceiling, a king-size bed, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. From this bedroom, you also have a view of the characteristic tower of Montcuq. On the same floor, there is a second double bedroom with a private shower room.
The open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining area are located on the first floor. The large dining table is ideal for convivial meals together. In the comfortable seating area, there is a television with satellite channels, among others, and books, board games, CDs, and DVDs are available. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large induction hob, oven, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, microwave, and dishwasher, among other things.
Additionally, Maison Montcuq features an extra bedroom with a private entrance, also known as the 'Moroccan Room'. This room has a king-size bed, an extra single bed, and a private shower room.
Next to the swimming pool is a separate gîte with two more bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature a private shower room and comfortable armchairs. One bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed, while the other bedroom has two single beds. The gîte also features a practical kitchenette with a hob, refrigerator, and microwave. Directly next to the gîte lies a cozy courtyard with a table tennis table.
Due to the various sleeping quarters and living units, Maison Montcuq is an ideal accommodation for a holiday with a large family or multiple families. Everyone can enjoy the shared spaces together, while at the same time there are plenty of opportunities to retreat for a moment.

Outdoors
Outdoor living takes center stage at Maison Montcuq. Surrounding the house is a large, green garden with many trees that provide pleasant shade on warm summer days. From the grounds, you have a beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and of Montcuq in the distance.
The large private swimming pool measures a generous 12 x 6 meters and is heated. The pool features built-in steps and an electrically operated hard cover for extra safety when the pool is not in use.
Surrounding the pool is a spacious terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Under a covered veranda, there is a large picnic table where you can eat with the entire group. Here you will also find a permanent charcoal barbecue and a second table tennis table.
Scattered across the grounds are various small terraces and seating areas with tables and chairs. This allows you to choose a spot in the sun or in the shade at any time of day. Furthermore, the location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac ensures plenty of privacy and tranquility.
From the house, you can immediately embark on beautiful walks and bike rides through the rural landscape. There is ample parking space for several cars on the property.
Maison Montcuq is located in the Lot, in the beautiful Quercy Blanc region, just about a five-minute drive from charming Montcuq. This famous medieval village sits atop a hill and is characterized by narrow streets, distinctive houses, and the impressive Tour de Montcuq. From the tower, you have a beautiful view of the village and the surrounding landscape.
Montcuq is also known for its lively Sunday market. Here, local producers gather with regional products, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, cured meats, and other specialties from the Lot. In July and August, there is also a market featuring local producers on Thursdays.
Just a few minutes from Maison Montcuq lies Lac de Montcuq, a recreational lake with a sandy beach and clear, turquoise water. The lake holds the Pavillon Bleu quality label and is a delightful place to swim and relax in the summer. There are also picnic areas, a restaurant, and various activities on and around the water.
For children and teenagers, the Aquazone by the lake is a fun extra. Among other things, inflatable water attractions, trampolines, and climbing activities are available here, and pedal boats and paddles can also be rented.
The area around Montcuq is also excellent for hiking, cycling, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, and golfing. Wine lovers will also find plenty to enjoy here, as the vineyards of the Coteaux du Quercy are located in the Quercy Blanc region.
