Welcome to Le Chai Villa, a stylish and comfortable 4-star holiday home in the heart of the Dordogne. This former wine chai has been lovingly renovated into a luxurious villa for up to 12 guests. The villa has 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Five of these bedrooms can be configured as desired with a double or twin bed.
Enjoy the private heated pool (10 x 5 m), a solar shower, a gas barbecue and a spacious outdoor dining area – perfect for long summer evenings.
Description
The front door opens into a spacious lounge, equipped with internet TV and comfortable seating for 12 people. The thick walls keep it pleasantly cool on hot summer days – ideal for relaxing, reading a book or playing a board game.
The open plan kitchen/diner is light and spacious, with two large sliding doors leading outside. The kitchen is fully equipped with:

American fridge with ice and cold water dispenser
Full set of crockery, glasses and cooking utensils
The adjacent dining area has an elegant round table with comfortable chairs. From here a small staircase leads to two bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as a separate bathroom and toilet.
Bedrooms
There are 6 bedrooms in total, each with its own bathroom:
Ground floor
Bedroom 1: 140 x 190 cm bed
Bedroom 2: 2x 90 x 200 cm or 1x 180 x 200 cm
First floor
Bedrooms 3 to 6: each 2x 90 x 200 cm or 1x 180 x 200 cm
All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, shutters, a hairdryer, USB charging points and luxury bedding. Each bed has four pillows as standard; extra pillows on request. There is a bath towel, a hand towel and an extra large towel per guest. Toilet paper and cleaning products suitable for the septic tank system are also provided - use of these is mandatory.
Outside
Through the patio doors you enter a spacious terrace with dining table and benches, perfect for al fresco dining. On a lower level there is a shaded seating area – ideal for a book or a siesta. A few steps up is the private heated swimming pool with wide entry steps, outdoor shower and sun loungers. We operate a strict no glass policy around the pool for everyone’s safety.
The grounds (approximately 5000m²) offer a range of outdoor games including table tennis, boules, archery and a football goal. At the end of the garden is a raised terrace with panoramic views of Bergerac – a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset.
