Surrounded by a spacious terrace with comfortable sun loungers and parasols, it is the perfect place to relax under the Dordogne sun. The pool is fully enclosed with a gate and a lockable gate. For added peace of mind, a pool alarm has also been installed. The pool is positioned to enjoy the sun all day long and overlooks the garden and the valley beyond – a peaceful spot to swim, read, or simply enjoy the view as the light drifts across the hills. In the pool house next to the pool, you'll find bath toys, inflatables, beach towels, and mattresses for the loungers. Free internet access and a Bluetooth speaker are available by the pool. The pool house, situated next to the pool, offers a relaxing escape from the sun on hot summer days. Inside, you'll find a comfortable seating area and a summer kitchen with a sink, a refrigerator with freezer (perfect for chilled drinks and ice cubes), and shatterproof wine, beer, and champagne glasses. Pool towels are also provided for your convenience. The pool house is the perfect place for evening drinks, board games, or simply to relax with music and enjoy the view. On full moon nights, you can watch the moon rise over the valley—and once the sun sets, the sky fills with bright, beautiful stars. The garden is open and sunny, bordered by a discreet fence where children can play safely. A small pavilion adorned with roses and jasmine offers a charming spot for afternoon tea or a quiet moment with a book. The garden blooms all around with the colors and scents of the south—lavender, roses, olive trees, jasmine, rosemary, sage, and oleander—creating a peaceful setting to savor every moment of your stay. The beauty of the Dordogne begins right on your doorstep. La Mouy, nestled in the golden triangle of the Périgord Noir, is an ideal base for exploring one of France's most beautiful and historically rich regions. Mauzens-et-Miremont is a small, charming village with typical Dordogne stone houses, narrow streets, and a rich history, perched high above the Manaurie Valley. The village exudes authenticity and is beautifully situated among the hills and forests — ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Around Mauzens-et-Miremont, you'll find numerous well-known Dordogne attractions that are perfect for day trips: Grotte de Rouffignac – world-famous for its more than 250 prehistoric engravings and drawings (including mammoths), part of the UNESCO World Heritage site in the Vézère Valley. Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil – often considered the capital of prehistoric France, with museums and historical sites. Sarlat-la-Canéda – a beautifully preserved medieval town with a bustling market and atmosphere. In the neighboring villages, you'll find charming weekly markets, such as: Rouffignac Saint-Cernin de Reilhac (Sunday) Le Bugue (Tuesday & Saturday). Restaurants and cafés can be found mainly in the surrounding villages of Les Eyzies, Rouffignac, and Le Bugue.
