La Croix des Forges is a former forge that has been renovated with great care into a charming and comfortable holiday home. Authentic elements such as the natural stone walls, wooden beams, and the characteristic fireplace have been preserved and form a beautiful combination with the light and contemporary interior. The spacious living room is wonderfully bright and features comfortable sofas and armchairs surrounding the atmospheric stone fireplace. The large windows and French doors provide a pleasant connection to the garden and terrace. In the cooler months, the wood stove adds extra ambiance.
Adjacent to the living room is the cozy dining area with seating for 6 people. The country-style kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all necessary kitchen utensils. From the kitchen, you can walk directly onto the terrace and garden.
The holiday home features Wi-Fi, and all bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a pleasant temperature even during hot summer days.
La Croix des Forges features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is suitable for up to 6 people.
There are two bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom has two single beds and is ideal for children or friends. The other bedroom has a comfortable double bed measuring 160 x 200 cm. Both rooms are situated beneath the characteristic wooden beams. The third bedroom is located on the ground floor and has its own separate entrance from the outside. This bedroom also features a 160 x 200 cm double bed and has a private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Furthermore, this room remains wonderfully cool in the summer.
The second bathroom, with a bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, is located on the upper floor.
Outside
Outside, you can unwind completely. Surrounding La Croix des Forges is a beautiful, mature garden of approximately 7,000 m², featuring large lawns, old trees, flowers, and various fruit trees. The garden is fully fenced, offering plenty of privacy and ample space for children to play.
Various outdoor seating areas have been created. On the covered veranda, you can enjoy a drink or a good book in the shade. On the terrace, there is a large dining table where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast together or a long dinner in the evening.
The large private swimming pool, measuring 12 x 6 meters, is situated in a beautiful spot overlooking the valley and the Dordogne. Sun loungers and parasols surround the swimming pool. The pool is equipped with an electric safety cover, providing extra safety for families with children.
For extra relaxation and fun, a table tennis table and badminton equipment are available, among other things. There is also a barbecue for enjoyable evenings outdoors.

This is also a wonderful area for hikers and nature lovers. There are various walking and cycling routes through the hilly landscape of the Périgord Noir.
