La Bergerie du Sigoules is a beautiful, spacious holiday home for 6 people, ideal for families. The house features covered terraces and a large garden, with ample lawns at the front and back, perfect for relaxing. The large covered terrace is a wonderful place to dine and lounge, while the second terrace is perfect for enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. The garden borders a forest, offering plenty of space for children to play.
Description
A covered terrace leads into the kitchen/living room with a wood-burning stove. Bedrooms are located on either side of the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a hob, coffee maker/filter machine, grill, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator.
There are 3 bedrooms in total:
Bedroom 1: double bed (160x190 cm), walk-in shower with sink, and French doors leading to the garden. Bedroom 2: Authentic double bed (140x200 cm) and French doors leading to the covered front terrace. Adjacent to this room is a second bathroom with a sink, shower, and washing machine.
Bedroom 3 (upper floor): Under the sloping roof, with two single beds (90x200 cm).
Outdoors
La Bergerie du Sigoules features a large, characteristic covered terrace with a fireplace and valley views. Here you can enjoy meals or relax with a glass of wine. The terrace is accessible from the kitchen via an external staircase or from the garden. A large lawn, which flows into a wooded area, surrounds the house, providing a safe place for children to play. The terrace features a ping-pong table and a cozy lounge area. The house is spacious, bright, and exudes the charm of a bygone era.

La Bergerie du Sigoules is located in the Dordogne vineyard region, in the charming village of Sigoulès (municipality of Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac). It's an ideal holiday destination for those who enjoy peace, nature, and authentic French country life.
The setting is rural and peaceful, with hiking trails, cycling opportunities, and typical French amenities such as a bakery, a cozy bar, and a supermarket all nearby. Bergerac, where you'll find all the urban amenities, is a ten to fifteen-minute drive away. The Périgord Pourpre region is a paradise for wine lovers, with countless vineyards and local wineries. Active holidaymakers can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, fishing, or swimming. For families, this house offers plenty of space, fresh air, and ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
Just 13 km away is the lively town of Bergerac, surrounded by vineyards and famous wineries such as Château de Monbazillac. The prehistoric caves of Le Bugue and Les Eyzies are approximately 50 km away. A restaurant and a supermarket are just 1.5 km from the house. There's also a good restaurant in the neighboring village of Pomport. La Roumaniere Airport is 10 km from the house and offers flights to and from Rotterdam, among other destinations. In the summer, Sigoules hosts regular activities, such as a periodic evening market and a small, typically French food market on Saturdays. Other evening markets during the summer months can be found in Monbazillac and Eymet, among other places. The medieval castles along the Dordogne, such as Beynac and Castelnaud, and Château Milandes, are also well worth a visit.
