Ideally located in the heart of the Perigord Noir and on the edge of the medieval village of Saint-Cyprien, you will find the special holiday home L'Art. The house was built around 1850 and is divided into 2 independent, fully equipped houses connected by an interior door. This allows 2 families to holiday together while each having their own independent living space.
Holiday home L'Art has a private pool, large terraced garden, three terraces and great views it is the ideal place to explore the Dordogne and is a short walk from local shops, restaurants and a great local market.

L'Art is tastefully decorated and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people. In the mid and low season, L' Art Bas can only be rented for 2 to 4 people, at a reduced rate.
L' Art BAS is distributed on two levels and offers on the ground floor:
A fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, boiler, coffee machine. The living room with wooden dining table, sofa, coffee table, TV and wood stove, ideal for the coldest evenings in the mid and low season. The hallway leads to a romantic double bedroom with a king-size bed, two bedside tables with lamps and a wooden wardrobe. Adjacent is a shower room with walk-in shower and antique washbasin. There are separate toilets on the ground floor. On the first floor, the twin bedroom offers two single beds, two bedside tables and lamps, a wooden wardrobe and beautiful exposed timbers. The two bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Directly accessible from the outside or through an internal sliding door you enter L' Art HAUT. There you will find a nice living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining area and two armchairs. A small hallway leads to the shower room and to the separate toilet.
The beautiful iron staircase leads to the first floor where the large and bright gallery overlooks the living room. The large landing offers a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate two other guests.
From here you have access to a large balcony, equipped with table and chairs, where you can enjoy the view over the village and the rolling countryside. The master bedroom is elegantly furnished with a king size bed, two bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe and air conditioning, also boasts beautiful exposed roof structures.

The terraced garden of 3600 m² is completely fenced. It enjoys lawns, mature trees, fruit trees. For our guests there is a small vegetable garden where you can enjoy some tomatoes and strawberries during your summer stay. There is a large covered terrace with built-in barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining and a smallest terrace right in front of L'Art Bas, ideal for breakfast in the morning!
You can relax near the 6mx4m swimming pool, surrounded by wooden decking, with a protective fence for children. Private parking is available at the bottom of the property for 2 to 3 cars.
L'Art Haut, comprises:
Groundfloor: A large living room with an opened kitchen and dining area, separated toilets, a separated shower room.
A mezzane level: with a double sofa bed to sleep a further two guests. A separated double bedded room, a gallery which overlooks the living and with an outside balcony. All bedrooms are being air conditionned. Equipment kitchen: Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron.
Outside
Private Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. 3 private car places just in front of the houses. The 3600m² garden is all closed. You will relax near the 6 x 4m swimming pool, surrounded by wooden decking, with a protective fence for children ; and enjoy lunches and dinners under the covered terrace with a built in barbecue.
L'Art is ideally situated on the earth of Black Perigord. It is therefore ideally situated for exploring the beautiful region of Black Perigord and sampling the local specialities in the many excellent restaurants nearby. The Black Perigord dominates the Vezere and Dordogne Valleys. A countryside timelessly beautiful since prehistoric times. Montignac, Font-de-Gaume, les Eyzies-de-Tayac (Prehistoric Capital) la Roque-Saint-Christophe, le Bugue, Limeuil, Terrasson, Saint-Cyprien and Sarlat, Gastronomic Capital, these are the high points. There too many castles and caves to mention. Bergerac airport is 45min drive only.

Sports lovers, passive or sportive, will find everything to their taste – Golf at Lolivarie at Siorac-en-Périgord, go Karts at Saint-Geniès, River Boat trips in the " Valley of five Castles ", Mountain bikes and canoes-kayaks in Prehistoric Valley, the Goose farm at Campagnac, the Animal Park and attractions at " Jacquou’s farm ", swimming from Saint Cyprien beach, the Pont de Vicq or the Roque-Gageac.
