Gîte Valmont is a holiday home for 6 persons in a hamlet of Bouzic on the border of the Perigord Noir and the Lot. The house dates from the 12th century, like the surrounding houses. In July and August there is a lovely round swimming pool.
Description
The gite has been completely renovated, preserving the original and authentic features such as old oak beamed ceilings, an original pisé floor and natural stone walls. On the ground floor you will find the living room, kitchen, bathroom and utility room. There is a wood burning stove and a spacious terrace on the south side of the house.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and the second bathroom. The master bedroom has a washbasin and 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm) and the possibility of adding a third bed. The second bedroom has a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and the third bedroom has 2 single beds (90 x 190).
Outside
You reach the house via a private path. At the front of the house where you enter is a spacious walled terrace with garden furniture. BBQ, umbrellas and extra chairs are in the corresponding shed. There is also a round swimming pool of 3.60 cm in July and August. The terrace faces south, but there will be shade from 6.30 pm so that you can eat outside even on hot days. On the side of the house you can sit under the walnut tree. There is a second garden furniture with 6 position chairs.
In the immediate vicinity you will find: caves, castles, medieval villages, beaches along the Dordogne and golf courses.
