Gîte Hourtin is located in the peaceful Lachanau, close to the beautiful Lac d’Hourtin – the largest natural freshwater lake in France. In the immediate vicinity you can swim, sail, canoe or relax on child-friendly beaches. Nature lovers can indulge themselves in the nearby nature reserve with dunes, forests and spectacular viewpoints.
For families there are numerous facilities such as a play park, picnic areas and a traditional jeu-de-boules court. The lighthouses of Hourtin and the pleasant harbours in the area also make this an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature.
