Gite Domme is a holiday home with private swimming pool for 6 people located just under the city wall of the bastide Domme with within walking distance Domme itself and the cozy town of Cenac, where all amenities can be found such as: supermarket, butcher, bakery, post office, restaurants. Gite Domme was built around 1890 and is built like a dike house along a rock and consists of 3 levels. From the terrace you have a fantastic view over the rolling countryside.

Description
The entrance to the attic is on the road and access to the front door is via a wide staircase. The living room and kitchen are located on this level. One floor lower you will find the bedroom, bathroom and toilet. These two floors are connected with a staircase both inside and outside. In the attic there is a third bedroom with two single beds and an attic with two single beds plus a small bathroom with toilet and sink. The attic floor is not accessible from the inside, but only via the outside staircase.

The terrace garden consists of 3 levels. There is a lovely private swimming pool where you can cool off during the hot days and a covered area with terrace and a separate terrace under the walnut tree with dining table. The garden with fantastic views faces south and has plenty of sun and shade where you can enjoy your holiday. Gite Domme is located in the Périgord Noir region, part of the Dordogne department, near the towns of Domme, Cénac, Daglan and Castelnaud. This region is also known for its countless castles, rivers and streams, gardens, bastides, caves, medieval towns, markets and, of course, the truffles, walnuts and goose liver pâté.

Domme is situated high on a hill near the Dordogne river in the southwest of France. The most striking is the view and the cave which is situated under the village. The entrance to the cave is in the middle of the market square. But also the church, the castle and the beautiful surroundings with many more beautiful villages in the area are a visit worth.
