A few meters from the Lot river you will find Gite Aiguillon, an old toll house, where boats used to have to pay tolls. It is a true paradise for fishermen: carp, (large) catfish and many more types of fish. A holiday home so close to the water and where your family can enjoy the pool. That's living like a God in France!
Description
Gite Aiguillon is a characterful holiday home and is equipped with all amenities such as a dishwasher and cooking facilities, various coffee machines, air fryer and much more. The living room has a large TV with built-in Chromecast, so you can watch everything with your own apps.
There are 2 bedrooms. On the 1st floor there is a bedroom with a double bed 160*200 with a private bathroom and a separate toilet. This bedroom has a balcony and stairs with access to the garden.
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds of 90*200. There is a beautiful linen cupboard with extra towels and pillows. This bedroom also has its own bathroom with shower and toilet.
Outside
The covered terrace of 55m² is equipped with a new outdoor kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator and barbecue, which can also be used for cooking with gas. The terrace has been extended with a bamboo wooden terrace, which flows into the beautiful swimming pool.There are 3 terraces around the holiday home, so you can always choose a place to sit in the shade or sun. Enjoy the peace and the view.
There is a large jetty and a small jetty to moor the fishing or belly boat. The vegetation on the shore has thinned out so that the view from the large terrace is incredible. Many trees in and near the water have been removed.
For fishermen it is a beautiful weir, where there are certainly many carp, catfish and other types of fish. The current and water level can differ per day because this is the last part of the Lot, which joins the Garonne 3 km further. And of course there is light at the jetty, but also a walking lamp.
Fishing is allowed day and night. From one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise only from the jetty, but not for catfish.
The rates shown in the mid/low season are based on 2 persons.
Pets are welcome at Gite Aiguillon and can enjoy a fully enclosed garden (additional charge €5 per pet, per day).

Lot et Garonne as the province is called is unknown, but no less loved for that. It is not called the Tuscany of France for nothing. This is mainly because of the many picturesque bastide villages built on hilltops with restaurants on cozy squares.
There is a wide range of restaurants in the area, especially in the picturesque villages built on the many hills in the immediate vicinity. The area is also a true paradise for wine lovers, the wine regions of Cahors, Bergerac, Buzet, Duras and Bordeaux are all less than an hour away by car. A visit to the beautiful town of St Emilion is especially a must.
