Welcome to Domaine Sigoules, a fantastic holiday accommodation for 12 people with a private pool in the heart of the Dordogne. The domaine is perfect for families or friends who want to enjoy the atmosphere of the French countryside, nature, and relaxation while still maintaining their privacy.

The fully equipped kitchen is separate and offers everything you need for a wonderful holiday: from an American-style fridge-freezer to a Nespresso machine, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and blender. This allows you to effortlessly cook and enjoy French specialties. For cozy evenings, there's a wood-burning stove in the living room, and for relaxation, there's a small television.
The house has three bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Double bed
Bedroom 2: Double bed
Bedroom 3: Two single beds
One of the beds is extra long (200 cm), ideal for tall guests.
The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower, as well as a hairdryer. The house also has two toilets. For added convenience, a washing machine, dryer, iron, and vacuum cleaner are provided.
Outdoors
The house is situated on a spacious plot with a charming garden surrounding the private heated swimming pool (5 x 11 m, depth 70 cm - 220 cm). The pool is partially fenced and has a convenient cover for the summer. Around the house, you'll find sun loungers, parasols, and a mobile barbecue for summer lunches or dinners al fresco. The terrace is uncovered, but is equipped with a parasol. Whether you want to relax by the pool, explore the picturesque villages of the Dordogne, or enjoy the countryside and gastronomy, Le Caillauda offers the perfect base for an unforgettable holiday.

La Bergerie du Sigoules 6P
A covered terrace leads into the kitchen-cum-living room with a wood-burning stove. Bedrooms are located on either side of the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a hob, coffee maker/filter machine, grill, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator.
There are three bedrooms in total:
Bedroom 1: Double bed (160x190 cm), walk-in shower with sink, and French doors leading to the garden.
Bedroom 2: Authentic double bed (140x200 cm) and French doors leading to the covered front terrace. Adjacent to this room is a second bathroom with a sink, shower, and washing machine.
Bedroom 3 (upper floor): Under the sloping roof, furnished with two single beds (90x200 cm).
Outside
La Bergerie du Sigoules features a large, characteristic covered terrace with a fireplace and valley views. Here you can enjoy a meal or relax with a glass of wine. The terrace is accessible from the kitchen via an external staircase or from the garden. A large lawn, which flows into a wooded area, surrounds the house, providing a safe place for children to play. On the terrace, you'll find a ping-pong table and a cozy lounge area. The house is spacious, bright, and exudes the charm of a bygone era.

Domaine Sigoules is peacefully situated, yet close to amenities: a supermarket, bakery, and restaurant are less than 1 km away. For an active holiday, you can visit golf courses and canoeing routes on the Dordogne, Vézère, and Dropt rivers. Domaine Sigoules is located in the Dordogne wine region, in the charming village of Sigoulès.
The surrounding area is rural and peaceful, with hiking trails, cycling opportunities, and typical French amenities such as a bakery, a cozy bar, and a supermarket nearby. Bergerac, where you'll find all the urban amenities, is a ten to fifteen-minute drive away. The Périgord Pourpre is a paradise for wine lovers, with countless vineyards and local wineries. Active holidaymakers can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, fishing, or swimming. For families, this house offers plenty of space, fresh air, and ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
Just 13 km away is the lively town of Bergerac, surrounded by vineyards and famous wineries such as Château de Monbazillac. The prehistoric caves of Le Bugue and Les Eyzies are approximately 50 km away. A restaurant and supermarket are located a short distance from the house. There is also a good restaurant in the neighboring village of Pomport. La Roumanière Airport is 10 km from the house and offers flights to and from Rotterdam, among other cities. In the summer, Sigoules organizes regular activities, such as a periodic evening market and a small, typically French food market on Saturdays. Other evening markets during the summer months can be found in Monbazillac and Eymet, among other places. The medieval castles along the Dordogne, such as Beynac and Castelnaud, and Château Milandes, are also well worth a visit.
