The property is entered via a stately stone staircase and a solid wooden door. The entrance hall leads to a warm, inviting sitting room with robust stone walls, wooden beamed ceiling and patio doors leading to the terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Comfortable sofas are arranged around an impressive stone fireplace and a flat-screen TV, creating a cosy atmosphere. The fully fitted kitchen has a solid wood dining table with eight chairs, a gas hob, built-in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, boiling water tap, toaster, coffee maker and a complete set of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils, ideal for preparing delicious meals.
The elegant dining room with antique wooden table, tapestry and mood lighting opens through double doors onto the raised terrace. A long hallway leads to two comfortable bedrooms. The first bedroom has a large double bed, bedside tables, lamps, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. This room has direct access to a generous en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, a large walk-in shower, double washbasin and WC. The second bedroom is light and airy thanks to several windows and French doors. This room also has a double bed, an antique corner cupboard, a chest of drawers and its own washbasin. Next to this room is a private bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin, as well as a separate WC.
A staircase from the dining room leads to the upper floor, where three charming double bedrooms are accommodated. Each bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lights, a chest of drawers and an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. The original wooden floors and exposed beams add character to these rooms. From the hallway you reach a roof terrace with breathtaking views over the garden and the surrounding valley.
A staircase from the dining room leads to the basement, where there is a practical laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities. The summer sitting room, reached via a separate external door, offers a cool place to relax overlooking the pool. There is also an additional WC.

Outside, Chartreuse St. Cybranet is set in a beautifully landscaped garden of no less than 10,000 m², full of flowering shrubs, ancient trees and extensive lawns. The upper terrace stretches the full length of the house and is equipped with an iron dining table, chairs and a parasol. The impressive 12 x 6 metre swimming pool, heated from May to the end of September, is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and parasols. There is ample parking on the property for several cars.
Note:
There is also a gite on the property. The gite can be rented all year round, except in July and August. In July, the owner stays in the Chartreuse. In August, the Chartreuse is rented with exclusive use of the property. So you have the entire property privately and the gite will not be rented to anyone else.
The changeover day is flexible, with a minimum stay of 9 nights.
The price includes all costs and services, with the exception of:

Chartreuse St. Cybranet is located in the picturesque village of St. Cybranet, in the beautiful Céou Valley. Within walking distance you will find a small supermarket, restaurant, petrol station/garage and in the summer a lively market and evening "marché gourmand". Cycling and walking paths run directly along the river.
Within a radius of 30 km are the highlights of the Dordogne: Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Castelnaud and the castles of Les Milandes and Castelnaud. The prehistoric centre of Les Eyzies and the market town of Sarlat are also easily accessible.
