Pigeonnier de Mayac has an atmospheric living room with fireplace, a well-restored kitchen with all amenities.
There are 2 large bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is located on the 1st floor (26 m²) and has a double bed 160 x 200 cm and a single bed 90 x 190 cm.
Bedroom 2 is located on the 1st floor (16 m²) and has 2 single beds 90 x 190 cm and a bunk bed of 90 x 190 cm. The bathroom has a shower in the bath and sink.
Outside
Children can romp around in the garden and the large swimming pool of 14 by 5 meters is located a few dozen meters away from the house and is safely closed off for children. Pigeonnier de Mayac has a spacious enclosed garden with a few nice shady spots.
Outside there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The spacious garden is equipped with a garden table, comfortable chairs, sun loungers and parasols. There is a barbecue available for cozy evenings and outdoor lighting for extra atmosphere. Guests can make use of sufficient parking spaces. Sporty guests can enjoy the table tennis table or choose activities in the area, such as cycling, golf or horse riding.

PLEASE NOTE: This swimming pool is shared with the tenants of the other gite and the east wing of the chateau that are present on this estate.
The swimming pool is only available from the beginning of May to the end of September! The atmosphere on the domaine is peaceful and it is a wonderful place for children. On the estate you will find another gite and a large chateau. These are also rented out or you can rent the entire estate with a large group.
The Dutch manager has been living 1000 meters away for more than 25 years and is happy to help you.
In the immediate vicinity there are many well-marked hiking trails and you can also discover nature in the forest behind it with the avenue with ancient plane trees along the river Isle. From the Chateau you can walk straight to the river, it is centrally located with regard to all kinds of activities, shops and sights.
Restaurants can be found 2 km from the house, shops with groceries are within 2 km. The house is located on the border of the Périgord Vert and the Périgord Blanc in the southern French Dordogne.
For a day out you can visit the surrounding towns of Excideuil (10 km), Tourtoirac (18 km) or Perigueux (23 km).
