Maison L'Embalay has a beautiful private swimming pool, a large garden and therefore the perfect destination for those who looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the heart of the Dordogne.
Description

Maison L'Embalay consists of 2 accommodations. The main house and a gite. The main entrance leads to a corridor with a traditional stone floor. On the left you will find the fully equipped modern kitchen with a majestic fireplace, a solid wooden dining table and doors to the front and rear gardens. The kitchen offers stainless steel work surfaces, a stove with both gas and electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, built-in refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all the necessary crockery and cooking utensils for preparing delicious home-cooked meals.
The enormous lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas, coffee table, bookcases and another impressive fireplace. At the end you will find a beautiful square dining table where you can dine indoors or enjoy an aperitif. There are a total of 5 bedrooms. Prior to the living room you will find:
Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160 cm wide), chest of drawers and a sliding door to the garden. This bedroom has its own bathroom complete with bath, shower, double sinks and toilet. On the right you will find the summer lounge with astonishing ceiling and large patio doors. Imagine relaxing on these comfortable couches with a good book! From this room you reach Bedroom 2 with a double bed (160 cm wide) and a door that gives direct access to the garden. This bedroom also has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
A metal staircase leads from the hall to the first floor. There is a TV room with flat screen TV, DVD, bean bags and floor cushions. The perfect place for the younger guests. On this floor there are also bedrooms 3 and 4. These bedrooms are each equipped with four single beds that can be combined into a double bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and sink. A separate toilet on this floor. The laundry room is accessible from the outside and is located in the basement. It offers a washing machine, dryer and is perfect for storing bicycles or play equipment.
Gite

The gite is across the street from a quiet country lane, just 10 meters from the main building and still offers space for 2 people. The gite has an open living room with dining table, fitted kitchen (oven, hob, fridge) The bedroom has a king-size double bed (180 cm wide) with bedside tables and lamps. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and sink. There is a separate toilet
Outside

Despite the luxury and comfort at Maison L'Embalay, it is without a doubt also a great place to stay outside. You will certainly appreciate the charm and tranquility. Around the house is a fenced garden with tables and chairs where you can dine outside. A gate gives access to the fantastic swimming pool (19 meters long). There are various sun loungers, parasols and coffee tables where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The 15 hectares of private land offer endless possibilities for walking, playing ball games, or to view the local fauna or to appreciate the view of the castle of Beynac.

1 pet of less than 25 kg is allowed upon prior EXPRESS agreement and subject to the following conditions:
* Vaccines/Vermifuges/Fleas, ticks up-to-date: Up-to-date health file of the animal to be presented on arrival
* Access to bedrooms, sofas and armchairs, and the swimming pool are not accessible.
* The outdoor area must be left perfectly clean upon departure
Located just 2 km from the pretty village of Castelnaud, where you will find the famous castle but you can also enjoy the pebble beaches along the Dordogne river. In Castelnaud you will find various shops and restaurants, including an excellent bakery / pastry shop! All sights of the villages of Dordogne and Vezere are within easy reach.
