Nestling 3 km from the medieval ramparts of Gourdon. Set in mature landscaped gardens and extensive wooded grounds and orchards the estate is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, red squirrels, hoopoes, woodpeckers, golden orioles and many other species of birds. Gourdon and its surroundings are nice for walking, biking and car excursions. There are four golfcourses within a circle of 35 kilometres (20 miles). Gourdon has all shops, supermarkets and medical care. The Lot has a pleasant and sunny climate and is known for its mild and sunny spring and autumn (20 up to 25 degrees). Delicious warm summers (30 up to 35 degrees in July and august). The Lot is a part of France, that you will love immediately. Untouched nature, space, pure air and a rich and cultural history. The Lot gastronomy is famous: truffles, foie gras, confits (duck and goose dishes, patés and goatcheese). Sightseeing: Gouffre of Padirac and Cave of Cougnac, Rocamadour, Sarlat.
