La Traverse in Cénac et Saint Julien is a beautiful typical French holiday home in the Dordogne. La Traverse is suitable for 12 people and has a fantastic large private swimming pool and has an amazing panoramic view. La Traverse is very centrally located in the Dordogne and is therefore the ideal place to discover the area.

You enter the first floor via a stone staircase. There is a large and comfortable lounge with sofas, coffee table, impressive stone fireplace, piano, lamps and rugs. The overhanging mezzanine offers a wide selection of books. There is a study room with a desk and chair that you could possibly work on during the holidays. The dining room has a beautiful wooden dining table and chairs and a second fireplace.
The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and the necessary equipment for producing home-cooked meals with the excellent local fresh produce. There are 6 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed (180 cm wide), a mezzanine with bookcases and a private bathroom with bath and sink. There is a separate toilet on this floor. A staircase leads to the garden level where you will find the following rooms. A billiard room with billiard table, TV and armchairs. Bedroom 2 has a double bedroom with a large double bed (160 cm wide) and a private shower room with shower and sink. Bedroom 3 and 4 both have two single beds (90 cm wide) that can be combined into two large double beds. There is a separate bathroom with a bathtub and sink. Bedroom 5 also has two single beds and has its own shower room. Bedroom 6 has a small double bed (140 cm wide) and also has its own shower room. There is a large laundry room that offers two washing machines, a tumble dryer, an additional fridge and freezer. Two separate toilets complete this floor.

At the rear of the house are a large raised terrace that is accessible from the living room to the living room. It is a good place for relaxed lunches or sunset, and is equipped with table and chairs, couches and armchairs. The beech trees provide shade during the heat of the afternoon sun. La Traverse has a beautiful large private swimming pool 12m x 6m and is completely fenced for the safety of our younger visitors. It also has a submerged alarm and is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The extensive terrain covers more than 3 hectares and offers various lawns ideal for ball games, and many shady places to relax with a book. Two barbecues are available so that you can also enjoy a delicious meal with a large group. There is sufficient parking space for up to 5 cars on the site.
