La Rouge du Lot is a beautiful holiday home with private pool and is located near the Dordogne and has a warm, cozy interior with beautiful old beams. The fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor includes a dishwasher, oven, microwave, large refrigerator and a wooden farmhouse table for 8 people. This space opens directly onto the terrace and pool. From the kitchen you can take a small wooden staircase that leads directly to a cozy large living room.
This living room has an attractive Cantou fireplace. Behind the kitchen is the dining room with a fireplace. There are total 6 people. On the ground floor is bedroom 1. This is the master bedroom and has a double bed 160x200. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and sink and has access to the terrace.
On the top floor where the living room is also located are the remaining 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has a double bed 140x190 and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds 90x190 and an ensuite bathroom. Finally, on this level there is a separate bathroom with bath, toilet and sink. The bedrooms have a view of the pool
Outside
In the garden you will find a beautiful swimming pool. In the garage you will find a toilet and washing machine. Outside there is a ping pong table, a charcoal barbecue and a beautiful table where you can dine for a long time. The pool open from about mid/end of May.
The surroundings of this holiday home are also very beautiful! It is ideally located in the Périgord Noir, with the city of Sarlat as its radiant center. The many sites and tourist attractions of this region are close by and well worth a visit, such as the Lascaux Caves, the Castle of Castelnaud, the village of Bournat and its famous gardens and Chateau de Marqueyssac. The picturesque town of Souillac is less than 8 km away. The Dordogne river is ideal for swimming or canoeing.
