La Grange d'Astor is the ideal holiday home in the Dordogne with private heated pool. During hot summer days, you will enjoy a cooling dip in the large, private swimming pool after a leisurely lunch on one of the shaded terraces, or simply relax under the hundred-year-old walnut tree. In cooler periods you can also rent La Grange d'Astor because with underfloor heating and two wood stoves it is comfortable all year round.
La Grange d'Astor is spread over two floors and covers an area of over 180m² and offers on the ground floor:
A beautiful entrance hall with separate toilet. There is a huge living room with a beautiful ceiling. The comfortable leather sofas are arranged around the fireplace with wood burner. A flat screen TV offers both French and foreign channels, a home cinema system, DVD player and there is also an internet connection. The kitchen is just as cozy and spacious as the second living room. With its large wooden farm table and a sitting area around the second wood stove, it offers high-quality equipment. Nothing is missing here (bread machine and meat slicer included!)
For preparing the delicious local products that you can buy at the local markets. The utility room offers a second refrigerator, sink, washing machine and dryer.
There are 4 bedrooms.
Bedrooms 1 is a double bedroom 22m² and has direct access to the terrace. Furnished with a large double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk, it is particularly cool in the summer.
Accessible via the stairs in the living room, you will find the two other bedrooms and these are located on the first floor.
Bedroom 2 is also a double bedroom, 16m² and has a large double bed, a beautiful oak wardrobe and views over the surrounding countryside and an en-suite shower room with shower and vanity unit.
Bedroom 3 is the master bedroom of 22m² and is extremely romantic with its high ceiling, wooden floor and large decorative stone fireplace. It is furnished with a large double bed (180 cm wide), wardrobe and chest of drawers. Next door is the large family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, large sink and toilet. Located in the barn, just on the other side of the terrace, bedroom 4 with also a double bedroom is completely independent and ideal for our guests looking for peace and quiet! Furnished with a wrought iron double bed and a beautiful wardrobe, it also has an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC.

From a leisurely breakfast to a dinner under the stars, you will never tire of the beautiful terrace that runs the length of the house. Located on the southeast, it benefits from beautiful views of the countryside. It is perfectly equipped with a large wooden table, plancha, pizza oven and garden furniture. Behind the house, and between the main house and the guest house, is the second terrace with a wrought iron table and chairs, ideal during the hottest days. Surrounding the house, the huge wooded garden of more than two hectares offers endless places to play and relax, including a bowling alley and a hammock under the walnut tree. Not to mention the beautiful infinity pool, located in full sun, on the edge of the property. Measuring 12m x 5m, it is heated from the beginning of May to the end of September. Its wide step is an ideal paddling area for younger visitors.
