Domaine Prinquieres is located in a beautiful green valley. A great place in the Lot and near the river, with many prehistoric caves, beautiful castles, impressive gardens and charming surrounding villages. There are 4 gites, a bed and breakfast and a small campsite on the estate.
The old barn has been converted into 3 gites while retaining original typical French features and French doors that overlook the terrace. At the front you will find a terrace with table, chairs and umbrella for a romantic breakfast in the morning sun. In the evening you can enjoy a barbecue with an aperitif so that you can enjoy the sunset. The courtyard overlooks a large grassy area surrounded by forest and a small lake.
Gite La Peche
Gite La Peche is one of the 3 gites, a charming cottage for 2/6 people and is the middle gite of the barn. The fully equipped kitchen consists of a gas stove, microwave, fridge / freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine.
A drying rack, ironing board and iron are also provided. The dining room is comfortably furnished and has a double sofa bed. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed with bedside table and bedside lamp, wardrobe and also a bunk bed. The bathroom with shower, sink and toilet are also located on this floor. The rates shown are based on 2 people.
Outside
In the garden you will find a shared swimming pool and a jeu de boules alley. The swimming pool (5 x 10 meters) has been laid out with a terrace to enjoy the sun with comfortable loungers. A bar provides a covered recreational area during the day and cozy evenings with a drink. Free WiFi is provided throughout the entire domain.
The beds are made for you upon arrival.
The estate is approximately 10 km from Gourdon, the capital of the Le Bouriane countryside. Sarlat-La Canéda is definitely a visit worth. Another popular city is Rocamadour. It is a spectacular pilgrimage site on the rock face. Domme is situated on a steep cliff and offers a breathtaking view over the valleys of the Dordogne and the Vézère. And these are just a few of the beautiful towns and villages in our area.
