Description
With a total area of more than 180m², Faveau de Baran offers on the ground floor a beautiful living room with two comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV. The large library area, with its leather ottoman and reading lamp, invites you to read for hours. In the extension, the dining room also has a sitting area with a modern sofa, a long wooden table where everyone can have lunch inside and play the piano. The beautiful original stone fireplace adds to the room's charm. The patio doors give access to the terrace at the front of the house. Adjacent is the beautiful kitchen diner and a large cooking island. Perfectly equipped, you will not miss anything for cooking and the culinary riches of the Périgord Noir. The patio doors to the terrace provide ideal communication inside and outside in the summer.
There are a total of 5 bedrooms. These are spread over 2 sides of the house, making it ideal for two families traveling together and wanting to maintain their privacy. The first sleeping area is accessed by the stairs in the living room and offers two double bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is a large, bright bedroom and offers a large double bed of 160 cm, two bedside tables, a modern armchair and a mobile wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 also has a double bed of 160 cm
A large closet / dressing room is available on the landing on the first floor
These two bedrooms share the first bathroom - located on the ground floor at the entrance of the house - with a tiled shower, a sink and a toilet. Washing machine and dryer are also available.
The second sleeping area is accessible via the dining room stairs.
There you will find the other 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Bedroom 3 is also a double bedroom with a large bed 160 cm wide and a very nice solid wood storage cupboard.
The adjoining single room is bedroom 4 and is ideal for sleeping a child. It has a large closet/dressing room and a nice collection of butterflies.
Bedroom 5 can accommodate two additional guests, in the large 160cm wide double bed. There is a storage cupboard on the landing. An extra bed for a child can be placed in this large bedroom. Adjacent is the bathroom. This bathroom should be shared with bedrooms 3,4,5 and is equipped with a bath and a sink. A separate toilet completes this level.

While the home's charm and comfort are undeniable, beyond this you will probably appreciate the incredible assets of this beautiful property even more. And don't forget the incredible private pool, located 50 meters from the house, in an equally pristine environment. The pool is 14 meters long and 7 meters wide and promises you beautiful afternoons to swim together, when you return from the many excursions offered by the immediate vicinity of the residence. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a pool house -with toilets and shower- complete the perfect equipment of this luxury home.

Faveau de Baran is ideally located in the center of the Dordogne. Faveau de Baran is located in a preserved environment, nestled in the shelter of a typical Périgord hamlet, where old stones have survived the centuries. At 6 km from a large village (Saint Cyprien) you will find all amenities (supermarket, large market on Sunday mornings, banks, bakery, pharmacy, La Poste, etc.).
