Description
Chateau de Sadillac is a beautifully restored castle with a private heated swimming pool and sauna. There are 2 spacious living rooms. Living room 1 has 2 large sofas and a large dining table. Living room 2 has a bookcase with an extensive range of books, a corner sofa, 60 inch smart TV, DVD and a wood stove for the cool evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, 5 burner stove with large oven, Senseo and fast filter coffee machine, kettle and cutlery, glassware, crockery for 15 people.
The chateau has 6 luxurious bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a spacious cool bedroom and has an ensuite bathroom and toilet in the tower. There is a private entrance and is located on the terrace. The room is equipped with 2 single beds each 90 x 200 cm.
Bedroom 2 overlooks the garden and has an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. The room is equipped with 2 single beds each 90 x 200 cm.
Bedroom 3 is located on the 2nd floor and has an ensuite bathroom in the Toren. The room has 2 single beds of 90 x 210 cm each and on the mezzanine is an extra bed of 120 x 190 cm. From this bedroom you can see the garden and the pool.
Bedroom 4 is the gray room and has a fantastic view. The room has its own sink. The bedroom has 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm each. this room shares a large bathroom with the rain shower, together with the pink bedroom and the children's room.
Bedroom 5 is the pink bedroom and also has a nice view. The room has its own sink. The bedroom has 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm each, this room shares a large bathroom with the rain shower together with the gray bedroom and the children's room.
Bedroom 6 is the children's bedroom and also has a beautiful view. The bedroom has 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm each, this room shares with the pink and gray bedroom a large bathroom with the rain shower and a separate toilet.
As soon as you open the gates, your holiday starts right away. The children will have fun in the pool or in the children's play corner. Fishing in the lake is another option. For adults there is of course also the swimming pool and sauna, but bring your own beach towel for the sauna and swimming pool. For games and entertainment you will find, among other things, game console / table football / games trampoline / dart board / billiards and snooker table.
Outside
The swimming pool (6 x 12 m x 0.90 to 2.40 deep) is completely private and can be heated, there is a pool alarm and the pool can be closed completely. There are plenty of sun loungers available. On the rear terrace is a large dining table for El Fresco lunches and dinners. The garden is completely enclosed. There are 3 terraces with garden furniture, lounge sets, indoor and outdoor play equipment, table tennis, chess, boules court, pizza oven and barbecue / grill plate.
The rates are based on 12 people. For each additional person, up to a maximum of 15, 195 euros is charged, children up to and including 3 years are free. For smaller groups up to 8 people we have special prices in the before and after season, please contact us so that we can further inform you.
Stop by and visit the surrounding wine chateaux of Bergerac and Monbazillac dessert wines, many of which are open for wine tasting. You can go down the Dordogne river by canoe and enjoy the 1001 chateaus in the Dordogne. Visit the markets of Bergerac or the nearby medieval villages to buy your French cheese and baguette. You will find all this and more close to us in Sadillac.
The Chateau is close to Bergerac International Airport, with flights to England, Ireland, the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Belgium. Sadillac is located 15 km south of Bergerac.
