Inside you will find all modern conveniences, such as central heating, a boiler, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. For entertainment and connectivity there is a satellite receiver, television and a fast wifi internet connection.
The accommodation at Chateau de Mayac is located on one floor and has two separate toilets. Linen is provided, including bed linen, towels, kitchen linen and special linen for the cot. For the little ones, there is a cot, a high chair, a playpen and a children's bath. There are also children's toys available and a play equipment in the garden, so that children will never be bored. The area is safe and child-friendly, ideal for a carefree stay with the whole family.
Bicycles are also available for the tenants.
Outside
Children can romp around in the garden and the large swimming pool of 14 by 5 meters is a few dozen meters away from the house and is safely closed off for children.

Under the veranda there is a lounge set where you can relax. There is a barbecue available for cozy evenings, as well as outdoor lighting for extra atmosphere. Guests can make use of a private driveway with no fewer than six parking spaces. Sporty guests can enjoy the table tennis table or choose activities in the area such as cycling, golf or horse riding.

The swimming pool is only available from the beginning of May to the end of September! The atmosphere around the Château is peaceful and it is a wonderful place for children. In former times this was an important area with vineyards and tobacco cultivation. On the estate you will also find 2 gites. The large tobacco drying house and a converted dovecote. These are also rented out or you can rent the entire estate with a large group. For family holidays there is also a second holiday home for 11 people for rent and third holiday homes (with 5 bedrooms) and the third holiday home for 6 people (2 with bedrooms). Of course depending on availability.
The Dutch manager has been living 1000 meters away for over 25 years and is happy to help you.
In the immediate vicinity there are many well-marked hiking trails and you can also discover nature in the forest behind it with the avenue with ancient plane trees along the river Isle. From the Chateau you can walk straight to the river, it is centrally located with regard to all kinds of activities, shops and sights.
Restaurants can be found 2 km from the house, shops with groceries are within 2 km. The house is located on the border of the Périgord Vert and the Périgord Blanc in the southern French Dordogne.
For a day out you can visit the surrounding towns of Excideuil (10 km), Tourtoirac (18 km) or Perigueux (23 km).
