Puy-l'Evêque is one of the prettiest villages in the Lot and has 2200 inhabitants, a number of restaurants and cafés, several bakeries, an excellent butcher and a supermarket. The area offers peace and space. Nature is impressing with many forests and hills and even rocky areas.
Sightseeing: Chateau de la Coste (12th century), church Saint Sauveur: was once a part of the fortifications, chapel of Saint Michel with its altarpiece of the 17th century, Château Bovila, a mill from the 18th century and the church St-Pierre-ès-Liens in Martignac.
