Maison Baran has been restored with local materials and skilfully added modern comforts and today offers a holiday retreat and an ideal starting point for exploring the cultural, natural and gastronomic riches of the Périgord.
With a living area of 120 m², the house is spread over three levels and offers on the ground floor:
A spacious living room with dining area and comfortable sitting area with large corner sofa, flat screen TV and coffee table. The kitchen occupies the entire width of the room and offers the perfect equipment and is equipped with all necessary appliances. The patio doors and bay windows give a beautiful view of the terrace and garden. Separate toilet with fountain completes this floor.
From the living room, the wooden staircase leads to the 1st floor where you will find 2 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with two 90 cm wide beds that can be pushed together to form a 180 cm double bed, two bedside tables, a large storage cupboard with hanging space, a school desk and a chair.
Bedroom 2 is also a double bedroom and offers a 160 cm wide bed, two bedside tables and a storage cupboard with hanging space.
These two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
From the first floor landing, a staircase leads to the 3rd bedroom, the second floor master suite, with its beautiful exposed window. It is elegantly furnished with a 160 cm wide double bed, two bedside tables, several wardrobes and closet space, an armchair and a chair. This bedroom has its own private bathroom with bath and sink.
An outdoor laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities completes the more than complete equipment of the property.
Outside
While the vacation home offers one of the most charming interiors, you'll likely appreciate the charm of the property even more outside. In front of the house, the terrace is equipped with a small table, perfect for breakfast in the sun. A second semi-covered terrace, with a huge wooden table and seating for 8, is also at your disposal for long lively tables, well protected from the sun during the day and cooler evenings in mid-season. The garden is enclosed by the wall and offers the perfect safety for young children and your four-legged friend.
The beautiful private swimming pool and the pool house make this holiday home an unforgettable accommodation. The swimming pool is very large 12mx6m and 1.2 to 3m deep and is equipped with an electric shutter that offers optimal safety and retains heat in the dark. Sun loungers and parasols are at your disposal. Outside, the private parking allows you to park 2 to 3 vehicles ..under the supervision of our cows!

Maison Baran is part of a domain of three properties that are never rented or occupied during the stay of our holidaymakers. You have full and exclusive use of the entire garden and pool and nothing will disturb your privacy and peace of mind here.
Ideally located and nestled in the shelter of a typical Périgord hamlet. At 6 km from an important village (Saint Cyprien) you will find all amenities (supermarket, large market on Sunday morning, banks, bakery, pharmacy, La Poste, etc.).
