The holiday home is located on the ground floor of a typical Perigordine house. The first floor is not accessible to guests but is NOT inhabited. You will be the only people on the property with private use of the entire property (including garden and pool)
All on one level, the house offers:
A bright open living room with two patio doors that open directly onto the terrace. There is a comfortable sitting area with a corner sofa, coffee table and flat screen TV. A fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs for indoor dining
There are 3 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a beautiful double bedroom (bed 140cm) with patio doors to the terrace, large wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps
Bedroom 2 has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a large double bed
Bedroom 3 has a single bed and wardrobe
There is a modern shower room with shower and vanity unit
There is a separate toilet
As icing on the cake, you can use the sauna with space for four!

There is a lovely south-facing terrace with table and six chairs, barbecue and sun loungers. A large retractable blind provides shade in the heat of the day. The large private garden with established shrubs and lawns is ideal for ball games. There is a beautiful swimming pool, 8m x 4m, located below the house with parasols and sun loungers. It is open from May to September.
Pets are welcome, in consultation with the landlady and for a fee

Flexible arrival and departure days all year round, only in high season NOT on Saturday or Sunday
Martial is ideally located in the countryside just 1 km from the village of St Martial de Nabirat with its bakery, restaurants and general store. The Dordogne valley with its pretty medieval cliff top villages is only 10km away where you can canoe or take a boat trip on the traditional flat bottomed "Gabarres". In the area there are many historic chateaux (Castlenaud, Beynac, Les Milandes, etc.) and the 'bastide' town of Domme, plus the caves of Les Eyzies and museums about prehistoric life in the region.
