Gite Cepe
The gite is named after the delicious local mushroom that can be found in the forest. Gite Cepe has an open plan layout with a modern kitchen, lounge and dining area. The living room is furnished with stylish sofas and stylish modern furniture and is complete with an LED TV with free English channels, DVD player and wifi. There is a selection of DVDs, books and family games or those quieter moments indoors.
There is a modern kitchen which is fully equipped with all appliances needed. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine. In the living room you will also find comfortable sofas, BOSE sound system, coffee table and books for relaxing moments. The dining area features a round modern table and chairs for indoor dining.
There are 2 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has high ceilings and a large window. Equipped with a four-poster bed with crisp white linen, a large chest of drawers and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is fitted with two single beds with crisp white linen and a hanging wardrobe. The bathroom has a freestanding bath that is big enough for two people and a nice walk-in shower.
Outside
The view from this space is beautiful in the early morning with the sun rising over the fields and woods. The terrace is also perfect for a delicious glass of wine in the evening sun. There is a fire pit and BBQ, dining table, chairs and sofa.

The ancient forest location offers a variety of flora and fauna with many opportunities to observe both birds and animals. In the spring the distinctive hoopoes nest and beautiful red kites, cuckoos and woodpeckers make their familiar sounds and swifts nest in the eaves of the barns. There are many other garden birds that visit every day. At night you will be serenaded by the barn owls and screeching owls.
The forest is also perfect for hiking enthusiasts, as the activity of 'randonne' or walking is very popular in this area. The forest is criss-crossed with walking tracks, providing cool shade for summer walks and great opportunities to see the local flora and fauna such as the roe deer.
The gites are close to several cycle routes called 'Sentiers du Perigord' for safe off road family holidays. Dordogne cycle hire delivers to the gites to make your cycling experience stress free.
