Petit Romantique is a characteristic holiday home with a cozy interior. The holiday home can accommodate 2 people and 1 child. The holiday home has also has a swimming pool that is private for most of the year! Only in high season, from mid July to mid August, are the nice owners in the larger holiday home and they also use the swimming pool. The holiday home is located in the middle of the Dordogne in the small and romantic village of Fanlac, with an excellent restaurant within walking distance.

Inside
The interior is decorated by a very talented interior designer and feels very comfortable. Upon arrival you will see a typical French courtyard with a beautiful swimming pool and a cozy seating area, where you can enjoy your breakfast with French bread and croissants of with a good glass of wine. By entry you will see the romantic bedroom with small en-suite bathroom. A door leads to the open kitchen and living room where you can relax or enjoy a delicious meal. Petit Romantique breathes an atmosphere and has everything for a relaxing holiday.

 

Exterior
A small but fully enclosed garden with swimming pool and there is parking for the car. The village of Fanlac is located near Montignac and Saint Leon sur Vezere, Sarlat is an absolute must to visit. Especially on Saturday there is the weekly market, where you can find everything.

Note:
Outside the high season, the owners may come for a long weekend, they live in Switzerland, but usually you are here completely alone and have your private pool!

The house is in a delightful rural setting, but it’s only 9 km from lively Montignac-sur-Vézère with its Wednesday and Saturday markets and all shops, 10 km from Saint Leon sur Vézère, 20 km from Sarlat (a huge Saturday market!), Brive, Les Eyzies – there’s lots of places to visit there, including the recently opened National Museum of Prehistory.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in Petit Romantique! Ondanks het wisselvallige weer!
Op mindere dagen hebben we veel leuke plekken bezocht, bij mooi weer heerlijk aan het zwembad gelegen.
De ultieme rust in Fanlac is zo fijn, daardoor kun je echt ontspannen. De mensen in het dorp zijn erg vriendelijk, Montignac is vlakbij voor boodschappen e.d. dus een superplek om te verblijven.
Het huisje zelf was ook erg fijn, lekker koel maar wel wat donker. Alles wat je nodig hebt is in het huisje aanwezig, top geregeld!
Groot genoeg voor ons en de hond. Ook fijn dat de tuin omheind is, onze hond kon daardoor lekker loslopen. Hij houdt niet van water, dus met warmte ging hij lekker binnen op de koele vloer liggen :)
Alles top, ook de gastvrijheid van Alexandra was top! Ze heeft ons keurig middels app en mail op de hoogte gehouden en geïnformeerd.

Eigenlijk precies, hetgeen ik er van verwacht had........mooie accomodatie, prachtige omgeving, authentiek dorpje en heel rustig.
Dit was mijn vierde huis via jullie en wederom uitstekend!

Our visit was super! The cottage is very nice. Inside, the interior design
is new, clean and well positioned. Outside, you have a romantic garden
house to sit/eat and of course a great (heated) swimmingpool!! The host is
very hospitable. She offered a welcome drink and even put candles on by the
pool when she knew we would go for a swim (at 9 in the evening). When she
saw that we hang clothes outside to dry, she gave us a drying rack. We even
think she bought a baby bed and chair when she heard we have a baby girl
with us. She does everything to make you feel at home or to let you have a
wonderful stay at this nice cottage. Fanlac is a very cute little village
(+/- 30 houses). All houses are very old and stylish. The village could be
a film set. Fanlac is located near the most important touristic spots in
the dordogne (lascaux 10 min drive, village de madeleine 15 min drive etc).

Zeer mooie rustige plek , heerlijk verwarmd zwembad. Ca. 8 km van het
gezellige plaatsje Montignac Huisje Petit Romantique is goed. Het dorpje Fanlac is
zeer rustig en heeft verder geen winkels , wel een restaurant maar is
helaas alleen zondag open. Op zaterdag is er in Sarlat ( 30 km)een
gezellige grote markt . Fietsen is goed te doen vanaf Fanlac richting
