Villa Vézère is a superb holiday destination in the heart of Périgord Noir, the most beautiful part of the Dordogne. The villa is located at 2.5 km from the center of Saint Leon sur Vézère, one of the most beautiful villages of France. The villa can accommodate 8 to 9 people and has a beautiful heated swimming pool. The house overlooks a small valley, and a brook, lined with poplars and willow trees, meanders its way through.

Description
The living room (100 m²) is the heart of the house. All the rooms are connected to it, as well as the big staircase, the entrance hall (with guest toilet), and both terraces. It has a big, authentic fireplace and there is plenty of wood in the barn.
Since the owners enjoy spending much time there themselves, the furnishing and decor are functional, yet warm and welcoming at the same time. There is a study on the ground floor. It contains a small library, a satellite-TV and DVD- player. On the shelves you’ll find books, folders and other materials describing the area. The kitchen is well equipped: 4 ring stove, hob, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, grill microwave/combi, dishwasher, etc.
The house sleeps 8-9 persons. There are four bedrooms: two with a double bed , one with twin beds and the fourth with a good size single bed. In one of them you’ll find a connection to internet. All rooms have their own color, atmosphere and character. Cot and high chair available
There are 2 bathrooms. Each of these is located on either side of the house. One bathroom has a shower, toilet and two washbasins, the other one has a toilet, bathtub and single washbasin.

Outside
Villa Vézère is located on a quiet country road at the foot of a wooded hillside. About 7.000 m² of this wooded area is part of the property, with just a couple of houses further up the hill, neighbours remain unnoticed.
Close to the house is the private swimming pool, equipped with lights, so swimming at night is possible. The pool has an electric heating system and an automatic safety cover. The pool is surrounded by a large, exposed terrace. There is also a shaded and partly covered terrace next to the house, so meals can be eaten outside even when the weather is not inviting.
Immediately in front of the house, overlooking the valley, a small terrace enables you to catch the last rays of the setting sun and a sweet whiff of lavender and rosemary. Spread around the premises, several shaded spots will provide you with peace and quiet, so you can listen to the sound of silence.And as you walk further up the hill you‘ll have a panoramic view of the house and the entire property.
