Welcome to gite La Poulaillerie. A beautiful and nice holiday home for 6 persons and is located on a small-scale holiday park Le Chat in Ecuras. The park has a good restaurant, snack bar, shop and a heated outdoor swimming pool and an extra children's pool. Everything is surrounded by a sun terrace. A mini golf; playground equipment for the children and tennis courts a recreational lake with sunbathing lawn.
Description
Gite La Poulaillerie is a detached bungalow with an enclosed garden and is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children. There is a spacious living room with open kitchen, a cozy dining area and sitting area with modern TV. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and extractor, an oven and microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer and of course all the kitchen utensils necessary for a group of 6 people.
There are 3 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm) with windows that can be darkened.
Bedroom 2 is also equipped with 2 single beds (80 x 210 cm) with windows that can be darkened.
Bedroom 3 is a smaller bedroom and has a bunk bed (80 x 190cm)
There is a sink in all bedrooms. When you arrive, the beds are made at an additional cost.
There is a spacious walk-in shower and a separate toilet in the hallway. The living room has an electric heating with a large capacity. Even on the cold days, in the spring and autumn, it is good to stay in the house.
Outside
The garden is completely fenced, so ideal for your dog and small children who can play outside. There is a storage room with a washing machine and an extra freezer. There is also the ironing board, iron, garden chairs and 2 sun loungers. If you prefer to stay at the house for a day, you can relax on your own terrace with electrically operated awning and barbecue with plenty of privacy. If you drive Electric or Hybrid, you can charge at the bungalow in consultation and for a fee.
Next to the holiday park is the 18-hole golf course De La Preze, a beautiful international championship golf course. One of the most beautiful courses in southwest France. The green fees are not too expensive and it is a quiet course. A green fee for 9 holes costs 25 euros, for 18 holes 35 euros.
The environment is rural. The landscape is hilly, with a mix of forests, meadows, fields and lakes. A beautiful green environment, with many attractions for a varied holiday. Walking and cycling routes have been plotted in the immediate vicinity. For example, visit the castle of La Rochefoucauld, the slipper museum in Varaignes (22 km), or the Romanesque church in Cherves-Chatelars. In summer there are also many cultural activities in the surrounding area, such as concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
Near Montbron (10 km) is a canoe center from which trips on the Tardoire can be made. You can practice sailing on Lac de Lavaud (24 km), there is also a beach with amenities. Horse riding is possible from the Center des Loisirs at the George du Chambon (10 km). The 18-hole golf course of "la Prèze" is within walking distance, other courses in the area are St. Junien (45 km) and Angoulême (45 km).
