Villa Monestier is an independent house with a private swimming pool, a private fishing pond and 5 bedrooms with a capacity of 10 persons, located in the heart of the vineyards of Bergerac in the village of Monestier - 10 miles from Bergerac.

Kitchen with fridge - freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
5 Bedrooms (3 double beds and 4 single beds - sheets provided), 3 bathrooms (1 bathroom, 2 shower rooms).
Wheelchair access. At request: 2 cots are available.

Outside
The private swimming pool (15x5m, depth 90 - 150 cm!) is secured and protected by a removable dome, located in the countryside in full nature. The property has a surface of 4.000 m2. A terrace overlooking the countryside. Outdoor furniture, deck chairs, umbrellas, barbecue, table tennis and games for children. A private fishing pond at 200m of the house. A garage.

Surroundings
Location: 10 miles from Bergerac, 60 miles from the sea, 2,5 miles from shops.
The historic town of Bergerac, set on the River Dordogne in the centre of the wine district, has much to offer: museums, markets on Wednesday and Saturday, good restaurants serving traditional cuisine, street cafes and interesting shops within the old town. The medieval Bastide towns of Monflanquin, Beaumont, Castillonnès, Eymet, Issigeac, and Monpazier with their weekly markets are close by and offer restaurants to suit every budget and every taste.
There are many exciting caves to visit including the well-known caves of Lascaux with their prehistoric cave paintings and artifacts.
The many beautiful Châteaux are worth a visit, Château Monbazillac with its famous sweet wine; the abandoned fairy tale Château Biron; Château Bridoire; magnificent Château Lanqais and Josephine Baker´s Château Les Milandes.

Activities
There are several golf courses, like Golf de Vigiers (5km)  in the neighborhood. Canoeing and kayaking is possible at several locations along the Dordogne river. It is also a superb environment for walking, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horseback and tennis.
