Domaine de Maziéras is an estate of 100 hectare with a holiday home and a gite, a large heated pool, a private tennis court and a beautiful view over the valley of the own river Crempse (full of trout), located in Issac between Perigueux and Bergerac. Holidayhome Le Chasseur can accommodate 8 persons and Gite La Tour two adults (and two small children). You can also rent the two gites together. The estate is situated in the Périgord Pourpre and consists of agriculture fields (mostly in summer sunflowers, rape-seed, maize and cereals), forest and orchards with chestnut, walnut and fruit trees.

Description Holiday home Le Chasseur
The holiday home (approx. 140m ²) with 4 bedrooms for 8 persons is situated on the eastside of the chartreuse of the estate. You enter through the courtyard, which is completely cut off from the homes of the owners by walls in order to guarantee your privacy. You can park your car(s) in one of the barns.
Ground floor: a spacious living room (60m ²) with a sitting area and 2 large dining tables and a fully equipped open kitchen with a 4-burner gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer compartment and a freezer with drawers. There is a charcoal barbecue and electric barbecue available.
2 Bedrooms, one with a double bed of 160-200 and one with two single beds of 90-200. A bathroom with a bath, shower, double washbasin and a separate toilet. A 2nd bathroom with a shower, separate toilet, double washbasin and a washing machine. Games room with a dryer and ironing facilities. 1st Floor under the sloping roof: 2 bedrooms, each with two single beds of 90-200. Hall for the 2 upper bedrooms with a sitting area. The beds have duvets and are made on arrival. The rental rates include bed linen, kitchencloths and towels. All beds can be pushed together. There is a central heating system with radiators available for the low season and the winter. There is also a woodstove and there are logs available.
There is Wi-Fi wireless internet and satellite TV with some English channels available and a DVD player. There is cell phone coverage. On the back of the chartreuse is the private courtyard with sufficient garden furniture. There is a cot and highchair available.

Description Gite La Tour
The apartment (approx 60m ²) for 2 persons (and two small children) is located on the 1st floor of the chartreuse, has its own entrance on the west side of the building and a sunny roof terrace (approx. 15 m²). There is a beautiful view over the valley of the Crempse. The living room has an open kitchen with gas cooker with 4 hotplates, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. In the living room are a dining table, a bank (also used as a sofa 135-180) and 2 armchairs. There is the possibility of adding a folding bed. There is a TV with French andsome English channels and a DVD player, there is GSM mobile coverage and Wifi internet is available. There is an electric barbecue available on the roof terrace.
There is central heating by radiators available for pre-season and winter.
In the bedroom are 2 single beds from 90 to 200. The beds have duvets and are made on arrival. The rental includes bed linen towels and kitchcloths. In addition to the bedroom is the bathroom with shower, sink and washing machine and a separate toilet. There is a cot and a highchair available.

Outside
Walking forward you end up at a large heated (salt water) swimming pool (6 x 14 meters) with a terrace, a spacious garden and a tennis court. There is also a big swing/playground. The pool is fully fenced and is heated (24 º) from the end of April till the end of October. There is a solar shower on and there are plenty of lounge chairs and parasols on the terrace. The tennis court includes basketball and volleyball facilities. There is ample parking outside.

The domain
The hunting season is closed during the summer, which allows you to enjoy long walks or bike rides in the area; you most likely will encounter deer and wild boar (especially in the evening twilight these animals go to the Crempse to drink ). At about 150 meters from the main building is a badger-castle.
