Les Malénies is a beautiful newly built house (2005) for 6 people in the pretty village of Saint Amand de Coly, one of the 151 most beautiful villages of France. You may make use of the magnificent pool of the camping, which is situated at a short distance. Saint Amand de Coly is located in the heart of the Perigord Noir between Sarlat and Montignac, the well-known tourist sites.

Description
The house is located at the end of a dead end country road and has a living area of 154 m2. The layout includes a combined living room - kitchen of 60 m2 and three bedrooms of 14 m2, 16 m2 and 16 m2, bathroom, utility room, corridor and hall. The living room has 2 double doors opening to the front terrace, a large dining table, a spacious lounge area with flat screen TV (satellite TV), DVD player, a separate desk and a bookcase. A wood stove is placed on a central spot for a cozy atmosphere in the winter. There are three bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bedrooms each with two single beds. Bathroom with shower and washbasin, a utility room, separate toilet, corridor and hall. Everything is on one level. You can reach the terrace from the bedrooms and the living room. All 3 bedrooms have double doors opening onto the terrace. Kitchen with electric hob, oven and microwave. In the utilty room are a washing machine, dishwasher and freezer available. There is electric heating. There is a radiator with thermostat in every room  whose temperature can set by you. Baby cot available. On the camping is wireless internet available.

Outside
The front terrace of 150 m2 with a barbecue and a shaded pavilion is located on the southeast side. Around the house is on one side a large parking for several cars. Next to this parking area is a small shed for storage of patio furniture and garden tools. There are terraces on all other sides of the house, so you can choose sun or shade as needed. In cooperation with the neighboring camping you may use the modern swimming pool on the campsite, at 400 m walking distance. This is a pool of 200 m2 and there are other recreational opportunities. There are jeux de boules courts, a bar and a small restaurant. It also offers the possibility of horse riding and bike rentals.

Surroundings
Les Malénies is a hamlet within 1km from the center of Saint Amand de Coly. It is next to a camping on 3.5 acres land, half of which is forest on a slope and the rest flat to slightly sloping meadow. The landscape is hilly and lies on the edge of the Massif Central with altitudes between 100 and 300 m. It has a varied landscape which alternates from agricultural grounds, villages and small pieces of wood. There are many rivers which all end in the large rivers like the Dordogne and the Vézère. Although St. Amand de Coly is an agricultural village with a very large area and a small population, it still enjoys a reputation for its unique fortified church from the 13th century. During the last years the restoration of St. Amand de Coly has begun with the objective to bring the houses and the pavement as much as possible into the original state. There are music performances in the church during the summermonths. The result is that St. Amand de Coly belongs to the association of the 151 most beautiful villages of France. The medieval town of Terrasson (6 km) is located on the enchanting river Vézère. In Terrasson are all stores that you need. There are 5 large supermarkets and several restaurants in the old and new part. Montignac at 10 km, known from the famous caves of Lascaux, where the first cave drawings of the prehistoric humans were found. Montignac is a lively town with many restaurants along the river and 2 supermarkets. At 40 km the capital of the Black Perigord: Sarlat, a medieval city known for its atmosphere, food and buildings! Salignac-Eyvigues (17 km) is a beautiful town with a castle.
