La Croix de St Germain is a converted barn for 6 to 7 people with a private heated pool, set 200m above the fields within reach of golf courses, chateaux, and caves, between Belves and Siorac in the Perigord Noir. The house is of stone, tastefully restored using the original materials and it has breathtaking views across the valley to the hill top bastide town of Belves and the surrounding wooded hillsides. This house is ideal for either a relaxing 'get away from it all' holiday or as a base for an active sports holiday.

Description
There is a staircase up from the hall to the living / dining / cooking area; designed as open plan, this large spacious room has magnificent exposed timbers and a highly insulated ceiling helping greatly to moderate the temperature even in the height of summer.
The lounge area has a flat screen TV with English free to view SKY programs, wifi internet, DVD player, and separate radio, tape player and CD player. The imposing stone fireplace has a flower display in the Summer, around which are grouped two comfortable easy chairs, two settees and a nest of coffee tables as well as a corner unit containing books, puzzles, and magazines.
The modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer. The washing machine is in the downstairs utility/games room / small barn.
3 Bedrooms: Two bedrooms with a double bed, one with washbasin and razor point. One triple bedded room. Each bedroom has ample wardrobe space.
2 Bathrooms: The main bathroom: is close to all of the bedrooms and contains a double washbasin, huge mirror, razor point, full size bath, separate shower, and a heated towel rail. WC: which is adjacent to these bedrooms. Shower room: with a washbasin and adjacent to it the second toilet.
The small barn: which is the utility room / games room containing the table tennis, washing machine, ironing board, iron and double sink.
A covered terrace runs the entire width of the house. It is equipped with a large weatherproof table and chairs and a power point. This terrace catches the afternoon and evening sun and is the ideal point from which to enjoy a leisurely evening meal whilst savoring the panoramic view over the valley towards Belves. On a bright summer's morning, it is delightful to use the other covered terrace, which is at the top of the outside staircase, for breakfast, and gaze across to St Germain and plan the day's activities. We provide a welcome pack of food for the tenants upon their arrival.

Outside
A private heated 8m x 4m swimming pool. There are also poolside loungers and a barbeque. There is off road parking for 3 cars, gravel courtyard (ideal for petanque, a set is provided) and access to the grassed area which contains fruit trees and flowering shrubs.
