You have just virtually landed on one of the most beautiful spots in France. Le Maine Menot is located on the border of the Charente and the Dordogne. For this reason you can enjoy the best that both regions have to offer you. In the Charente there are the St Emilion, Pomerol wines and Cognac, whereas the Dordogne serves the Perigord cuisine. Famous places like Bordeaux, Sarlat and Bergerac are not far away. Originally, Le Maine Menot is an old wine barn (ancienne chais), entirely renovated in style and luxury into a splendid holiday home for large groups or families that want to spend their holiday together. Off-season, Le Maine Menot is mainly used for smaller groups and as a conference center. From the terrace you have a fabulous view of the Dordogne and the house offers you every conceivable form of luxury and comfort. Le Maine Menot is suitable for 2 persons, 4 persons, 6 persons, 8 persons, 10 persons, 12 persons, 14 persons, 16 persons, 18 persons and 20 persons. Of course the odd numbers are not a problem either.

Facilities
Living areas
There are three large living areas. Lou Cantou is a beautiful and very spacious room, with a table and chairs next to the fireplace and a huge dining table which seats 16 people. The sideboard contains all the necessary china and cutlery for large groups.
Kitchen
There is a fully equipped luxury kitchen, several refrigerators and freezers, ovens and two dishwashers. Preparing your meals on the big stove with 6 burners is a delight.
Sleeping
There are 11 fully decorated bedrooms, altogether sleeping for 18 people (all rooms have central heating). The bedrooms have hotel boxspring beds with duvet covers and pillows. There is a chair and a table and possibilities to hang your clothes.
Additional facility: the Master Bedroom
From 2013 we rent the Master Bedroom as additional facility. This luxurious bedroom has a private entrance and en-suite bathroom. A wonderful stay for a couple looking for a little luxury. You can then enjoy with 20 people under one roof of all luxury and comfort! You rent during the holiday season the Master Bedroom always in combination with the rest of the house. The rent is € 500 per week. There is € 30 extra cleaning fee in conjunction with the rental of Le Maine Menot. Outside the holidays the master bedroom also rented on request as Chambre d'Hote. For Chambre d'Hote other rates apply.
Bathrooms
There are 5 bathrooms, 4 with a shower and 1 with a bath. All bathrooms are fully tiled and d have excellent sanitary fittings.
Sauna
During your stay, you can use the excellent sauna facilities. There are showers both indoors and outside. The swimming pool and the privacy of the estate make your sauna bath complete (maximum capacity: 6 people).
Extra's
In addition, there is a conference room of 66 m2 which can be used for various purposes.
Internet: There are internet facilities for your conferences and holidays.

Outside
Swimming pool : Le Maine Menot has its own private swimming pool. It can be heated on request. For this, an additional charge applies based on the use of electricity.
On the property of 6000 m2, you will also find: +/ 500 m2 of paved terrace, a playing field for jeu-de-boules, badminton or other games, a tabletennis table and two outdoor showers. There is a fitness room.
